In 2014 I took the difficult decision to find a new home for Surge because we had bred enough foals from him and didn’t expect to use him at stud ourselves whilst we waited for his foals to grow up and be assessed. So I was delighted when Nicola chose to buy Surge as the foundation stallion for her new AYTON PRE Stud in Devon. Above are a couple of photos of him happily settled in his new home. He is remarkably chilled for a breeding stallion and can be turned out with Nicola’s geldings without a problem.
What a great fellow he is.

Left Photo:- 09/07/2014 – Thalia started at ‘school’ a couple of weeks ago and is a star pupil learning everything calmly and quickly with no fuss and plenty of enjoyment. She is progressing very well in her ridden work.
Bred to the right stallions she can produce the following colours – Bay, Black, Chestnut, Buckskin, Smokey Black, Palomino, and Grey,an amazing colour range. She has a beautiful head and neck with a well made typical body and frame and super movement. Combining Cardenas bloodlines with Romero Benitez, Thalia’s Paternal Grandsire is Calificado & JRR stallion Navegante XVIII, and her Maternal Granddam is UK Supreme CH Maryss Dilaila.
Right Photo:-Thalia is now owned by a delighted Kaye Brown who is planning to do ‘everything’ with Thalia, who will be more than happy to go along with this plan. Thalia is going to live on the same farm as her cousin, Maryss Verite, so I can foresee lots of fun ahead for both lady owners and their Spanish mares.

Very pretty elegant filly with the rare Dun gene producing this lovely milk chocolate colour which she can pass on to her own foals. Alternatively she can make a great riding horse as she is calm and bold, and confident in new circumstances.
Sold to Laura and Chris (Capearlla PRE Stud) Cheshire to become their second foundation mare. I am very pleased that two such lovely people are buying this filly, and look forward to seeing what she will produce for them in the coming years.
